True North Intervention was created out of a shared vision: to bring compassionate, culturally aware behavioral and coaching support directly into the community. We saw too many individuals and families struggling to access consistent, hands-on help that was both approachable and Medicaid-compliant.
Our founders — a team of behavioral health professionals, community advocates, and care coordinators — came together to change that.
Since then, True North Intervention has partnered with schools, daycares, churches, and community programs to provide on-site and virtual coaching that strengthens families and builds confidence. Each program is designed around empowerment, respect, and results — helping people discover their own “true north.”
We use a person-centered model that combines the structure of Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST) with the encouragement and accountability of life coaching. Each plan is individualized and guided by a Qualified Mental Health Specialist (QMHS) under the supervision of a licensed clinician.
Our approach emphasizes:
Empowerment over diagnosis – focusing on what’s possible, not what’s broken.
Education and skill-building – teaching practical tools clients can use every day.
Connection and consistency – forming genuine relationships that support long-term growth.
To empower individuals, families, and organizations through Medicaid-approved coaching and behavioral support that fosters emotional strength, self-sufficiency, and community well-being.
To create a future where every family — regardless of income or background — has access to the guidance, structure, and compassion they need to live with purpose, confidence, and hope.
Compassion: We lead with understanding and empathy in every interaction.
Integrity: We uphold the highest standards of ethical and professional care.
Growth: We believe everyone has the capacity to change and thrive.
Partnership: We work hand-in-hand with families, providers, and organizations.
Community Impact: We measure success by the positive change we see in people’s lives.
